1550 Stephanus Greek New Testament
Stephanus New Testament Detail
1550 Stephanus Greek New Testament

One of the ten most important books ever printed; this is the first printing of the scriptures to have the text separated into numbered verses… a feature appearing in the English language for the first time a few years later in the 1560 Geneva Bible. Produced by Robert Stephanus (a.k.a. Robert Etienne), this is also the primary Greek text used to translate the King James Version of 1611. It is the first edition to use the “critical apparatus”, a series of marginal notes referencing which of the dozen ancient Greek texts were favored at each passage where differences occur. This edition has fetched as much as $40,000 for a copy in fine condition. This is the only one for sale in the world.

Complete Hebrew Torah

300 to 400 Year-Old Biblical Scrolls

A complete ancient Hebrew Torah Scroll of the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament). These hand-written, one-of-a-kind pieces are approximately 300 to 400 years old. They were produced in the world’s oldest continually operating scriptorium, a 2,400-year old scriptorium in South Yemen, about 1,000 miles south of Israel. These are the same type of “Bible” that Jesus read, and quite possibly from the same scriptorium! They vary from scroll to scroll, as each is a unique manuscript, but most are 18 to 23 inches tall, and usually around 100 feet long.

For close-up images of what our ancient Torah scrolls look like, visit our Hebrew Torah Scroll Panels page.

Offered at $28,000 to $35,000 ... inquire for availability.

1769 Baskerville King James
1769 Baskerville / Birmingham King James Update

This huge pulpit folio printing of the King James Bible is the most historically significant edition since the 1611 First Edition. It is the First Edition of the King James Bible we use today. That’s right… many people who think they use the 1611 version are shocked to discover that the 1611 version has not been in print for more than 200 years (with the exception of our facsimile reproduction of it). In 1769 the spellings were updated … for example, “citie” became “city”… and some minor wording updates were also done. All King James Bibles printed by major Bible publishers today are the 1769 edition. This First Edition of the 1769 Updated King James Bible is an excellent and affordable investment.

Greek Papyrus Fragments
Greek Papyrus Fragment Detail

Greek Papyrus Fragments from 148 AD

Even by our standards... WOW, these are old! These papyrus fragments are 148 to 149 AD. While these are not writings of a Biblical nature (they are from a private lease agreement for land in Israel), they are nevertheless, the same type of manuscript material that the New Testament was origianlly penned upon... and within a single century of when the New Testament was originally written. These super-rare conversation pieces make an unforgettable display piece for your home or library. They are quite small, varying in size from one to five inches in length by two to four inches in width, and they come pressed between two panes of protective glass. A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each fragment.

Priced from $5,000 to $6,000 by Size
